A tale about a strange young man, Bulcsú, the fellow inspectors on his team, all without exception likable characters, a rival ticket inspection team and racing along the tracks – and a tale about love.

Kontroll follows a group of employees of the Budapest subway system. They wear a banner that reads “Kontroll” on their arms, and their job is to make sure everyone aboard the trains either has purchased a ticket or gets removed from the train.
